We are a swimming pool construction and maintenance company based in
Hyderabad, building across Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh,
Maharashtra and Goa since 2015.
OceanPools is a swimming pool construction, repair and maintenance
company headquartered in Hyderabad. We build RCC and fiberglass pools
for villas, farm houses, resorts and commercial properties across five
states, using in-house civil, waterproofing and MEP teams rather than
subcontracted labour.

Most pool companies in India started as civil contractors who took on a pool and kept going. That is not a criticism — it is how the trade works here. But it explains why so many pools are built as concrete boxes with tiles, rather than as water-retaining structures with hydraulics.

What We Believe About Building Pools
A swimming pool is not a decorative feature with tiles on it. It is a water-retaining structure holding fifty to a hundred tonnes, sitting in ground that moves, connected to plumbing that gets buried under concrete and cannot be reached again without breaking something. Almost everything that determines whether a pool lasts twenty-five years or leaks in three is decided before anyone sees water. So that is where we spend our attention.
- We check the ground before we quote
A trial pit or soil test before the quotation, not after excavation begins. Rock, black cotton soil and a high water table all appear in the bill of quantities as priced line items rather than as revised estimates halfway through the job, when you have a hole in your garden and very little negotiating room.
- Waterproofing goes into the concrete, not on top of it
Crystalline treatment that penetrates the slab and becomes part of it, plus membrane layers at joints and penetrations — which is where pools actually fail. Surface coatings sit on top, lose adhesion, and go at the corners first.
- Every plumbing line is pressure-tested before backfilling
Pressurised and held before the trench is filled, and you are welcome to stand there and watch the gauge. This step takes half a day and is skipped constantly, and it is the single most common reason for a leak that nobody can locate afterwards.
- Filtration is sized from your pool, not from a chart
Pump and filter capacity calculated from actual volume and expected bather load. We test your source water first, because borewell water across much of Hyderabad and Bengaluru is hard enough to scale tiles and cloud water regardless of chlorine level.
- Our own teams do the work
Civil, waterproofing and MEP are all in-house. Nobody subcontracts your site to a crew we have never worked with and cannot vouch for. It is slower to scale that way. It is also the reason we can tell you what happened on site without making a phone call first.
- You see it in 3D, and you see every rupee, before we dig
A 3D visualisation before excavation, and an itemised bill of quantities listing every material, quantity and rate before the contract. Change the tile or drop the depth six inches and you see exactly what it does to the cost.
What We Don't Do
Being clear about this saves everyone time.

We don’t sell readymade, inflatable or portable pools.
If that is what you need, a supplier will serve you better than a construction company will.

We don’t compete on being the cheapest.
There is always a lower quotation. Usually the difference is the waterproofing system, the filtration sizing or the equipment grade — and all three are invisible until they fail.

We don’t quote without seeing the site.
A price given over the phone is a guess, and guesses get revised upward once work begins.

We don’t subcontract civil or waterproofing work.
It would let us take more projects. It would also mean we could not answer basic questions about your site without ringing someone else first.

We don’t take small repair jobs hundreds of kilometres away.
Tracing a leak needs someone on site, sometimes more than once. For a small repair far from our base, a good local contractor genuinely serves you better, and we will say so.

Are you the same company as Ocean Pools Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai?
No. We are OceanPools, based in Hyderabad, operating across South
India from oceanpools.in. There is a separate company with a similar
name based in Maharashtra. If you are looking for us, our number is

Do you subcontract the work?
No. Our civil, waterproofing and MEP teams are in-house and travel to every site we take. On distant projects, supervision runs to a planned schedule rather than daily — and we tell you that schedule at quotation stage.
Can I see a pool you have built before I decide?
Yes of course.
What do you guarantee after handover?
We provide 12 months of structural support after handover. Equipment
carries the manufacturer’s warranty, which we register on your behalf at
commissioning.
Do you work on pools built by other contractors?
Yes. A large share of our repair, renovation and maintenance work is on pools built by others.
